Athletic Experience: Began playing softball at age 6.  Was a member of the 3-time section championship team at Riverside High School, also placed second at the WPIAL championship and advanced to the quarterfinals of the PIAA state championships in both 1999 and in 2000.  Heather helped her team to an undefeated season as a senior, was a two time first-team all-section catcher, also honored as a second-team all-section selection, a 4-year letter winner, and voted most athletic of her senior class in 2000.  She was a three year member of the Pittsburgh Patriots, which claimed 5 national tournament titles. She played against the 2000 USA Olympic Team as a member of the 18-and-under All-State Team.  She earned a softball scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh where she was a 4-year starter at catcher.

Accomplishments: 2002 Second Team All Big East, 4 year varsity letterman for Pitt softball.

Personal Information:   parents: Rick and Doreen Andrews, has a younger brother Ryan.
